Catherine Briand is the founder of Gentle Path Dementia Support in Brentwood Bay, BC, providing cognitive screening, dementia coaching, and consultation. With a background in gerontology, she previously served as one of the Directors with the Alzheimer Society of Outaouais, supporting hundreds of individuals, caregivers, and organizations through education, care planning, and system navigation.

Her training spans McGill University, the Alzheimer Society of Canada, and Johns Hopkins University, and her approach remains compassionate and person-centred, grounded in years of hands-on experience with individuals and families facing cognitive change.
